Voting & Elections

City Councilors are elected at large for four-year terms; the terms are staggered so that only half the council positions are up for election in a given year.  The Mayor is elected to a two-year term. All seven positions are non-partisan.

For more information on elections you can visit the Yamhill County Elections website at Elections | Yamhill County, OR or the Oregon Secretary of State's Office at https://sos.oregon.gov/voting-elections/Pages/default.aspx for more information.

By Charter, candidates may not file petitions for election more than 90 days before an election nor later than 70 days for election.
