ADA Sidewalk & Crosswalk Ramp Upgrades Starting August 11

 

Houck Construction is scheduled to begin ADA sidewalk and crosswalk ramp upgrades on August 11, with concrete curing continuing through the first week of September.

As part of this project, ADA-compliant curb ramps will be installed at intersections along Bridge Street, specifically at:

• 4th Street

• 5th Street

• 6th Street

• 7th Street

• 8th Street

• 12th Street

🔵 BLUE DOTS on the map indicate where concrete work will take place for ADA ramps.

What to Expect:

• Work hours will be 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Temporary sidewalk closures and construction at corners

• Increased noise and activity near intersections

• Limited parking near work zones

• Safer, ADA-compliant pedestrian access upon completion

⚠️ Please Note: Additional rehabilitation work on Bridge Street is scheduled to begin in early September. More details on traffic control, detours, and access will be shared later in August.
